Yoga + Pilates

ISY is well-stocked with premium quality yoga mats (Jade Harmony), blankets, cork blocks, straps, and eye pillows for your complimentary use. You are welcome to bring your own equipment from home as well. We offer cold lavender towels to support you in relaxing at the end of an energetic class.

Below you will find a full list of the types of classes we offer. Classes are listed as beginner, all levels, or intermediate/advanced.

  • Gentle Yoga: Beginner

    Nurture your mind and body with Gentle Yoga. Embrace a slow paced practice with seated postures, gentle stretches, meditation, and rest.

    Gentle Yoga is perfect for new yoga practitioners, people recovering from injury, and those who want more calm in their life.

  • Restorative Flow: Beginner

    Flow into stillness in this 60 minute combination class, of a beginner friendly flow class and Restorative Yoga. Classes will generally start with gentle flow. You will move into Restorative Yoga, which is focused on centering of the breath and body, aligning the physical & mental through gentle seated & lying poses with props.

    Complete muscular relaxation & comfort are emphasized to achieve a quiet state of mind & body.

  • Restorative Yoga: Beginner

    Restorative Yoga is focused on centering of the breath and body, aligning the physical and mental through gentle seated and lying poses with the use of props. Complete muscular relaxation and comfort are emphasized to achieve a quiet state of mind and body in this 60 minute class.

  • Mindfulness Meditation: Beginner

    Join the ISY Fam on 2nd & 4th Mondays for a meditation experience.

    Each class opens with a topic of discussion and reflection. You will have the opportunity to journal after discussion and following the 10-15 minute guided meditation. Class concludes with a 3-5 minute period of relaxation.

  • Chair Yoga: Beginner

    Chair Yoga is a multi-limbed practice that involves breathing, concentration, and physical movements to create a sense of balance between mind and body.

    Chair Yoga serves both accessible yoga and as a complementary practice for “mat yogis.”

    Chair Yoga is for anyone with a chair or couch. The postures and poses are adapted so that anyone with limited mobility or cannot get down to a mat can do the postures. Chair Yoga can also involve more challenging poses to help build strength and stamina.

  • Flow + Stretch: All Levels

    Flow & Stretch unites an all levels flow class with yin yoga. This class includes 30 minutes of active movement of sun salutations, standing flows, grounding balances poses, and 30 minutes of seated/supine poses that are held. The yin aspect of the class allows the fascia to lengthen, which helps with muscle tightness and fatigue.

  • Warm Flow: All Levels

    Warm Flow is dynamic movement coordinated with the breath. The practice space is heated to 87 degrees. Classes will generally include sun salutations, standing poses, preparation for arm balances, and stretching.

    Modifications and props are incorporated to support you in this class.

  • Sculpt: All Levels

    Sculpt is the perfect combination of Vinyasa Yoga, HIIT, and stretching. This class is 45 minutes. It is designed to improve cardiovascular function, metabolism and increase strength, while improving flexibility and balance.

    Sculpt will include plyometrics, weight training, and isometric exercises to improve overall health and wellness. This class is for all levels; modifications to poses and movements are available. Jumpstart your health journey with Sculpt.

  • Mat Pilates: All Levels

    This mat-based Pilates class incorporates slow, controlled movements to enhance core strength, flexibility, and overall body awareness.

    The class will lengthen and strengthen the muscles while giving you a full-body workout. You will utilize the magic circle, small ball, and light weights to help sculpt your body as well as increase strength and range of motion.

  • Hero Pilates: All Levels

    Hero Pilates is a unique fusion of classical and contemporary Pilates utilizing the Hero Board (mini reformer). This class is focused on slow, controlled movements to lengthen, strengthen, and stretch your body and your mind.

    Strength, balance, flexibility, and mobility are essential for longevity and quality of life. Hero Pilates is designed to enhance and support your wellness journey.

    Grip socks are required for this class. Socks available in the boutique if needed.

  • Pop Pilates: All Levels

    Pop Pilates takes classical Pilates to the next level by challenging students to rhythmically flow from one movement/pose to the next, developing a rock-solid core and leaving no muscle untouched. It is a mat-based fusion of ab-chiseling and total body defining moves.

  • Hot Power: Intermediate

    60 minute Baptiste-inspired power yoga class. The class is heated to 95-99 degrees. You will challenge your body in this fast paced flow style class, while creating freedom, and peace of mind.

    Embrace heat, sun salutations, standing postures, arm balances, and inversions.

  • Power Beats Hot: Intermediate

    This is a 90 minute Baptiste-inspired high energy power yoga class taught with fun vibe! Power Beats is an all levels class, utilizing music as a tool to energize your practice. Experience standing sequences, flow, inversions, and more. The room is heated from 95-99 degrees. Challenge yourself in this fun community class!
